Uniglass have recently launched a range of satinated, anti-scratch and anti-slip glasses to the UK market. Managing Director David Stoker talks to Glass Times about the Uniglass product mix and the importance of independence.
As an independent stockist and distributor of a wide variety of glass products, Uniglass aims to stay at the head of the curve in sourcing new products that can benefit the UK market, in terms of performance, quality and cost. The latest of these include glasses that have been designed to provide anti-slip and anti-scratch performance.
Anti-scratch and Anti-Slip Solutions
Ecosat No-Scratch is an anti-scratch satinated glass which is suited to many purposes, from cabinet panels to doors, partitioning, countertops and display shelving, providing a smooth finish and high light transmission. Ecosat Flooring offers both anti-scratch and anti-slip properties and is especially suited to use as high quality kitchen and bathroom surfaces, providing both practical and aesthetic benefits. Both products are available in a range of thicknesses, in both clear and extra clear (low iron) glass and can be toughened and laminated.
Introducing the Uni-floor Range
The new Uni-floor collection of anti-slip designs are suitable for a wide variety of flooring uses, especially stairs and balcony areas and particularly in public spaces. Each of the Uni- Floor designs have been safety tested to meet European standards. Available in thicknesses from 4mm to 15mm, all products are CE marked and can be toughened and laminated. They can be supplied in pack quantities combined in full loads alongside other products.
